Roundtable discussion
Ineco has participated in the 7th Depopulation Congress under the theme "Raise Awareness, Reflect, Respond", an event that brought together in León representatives from institutions, companies, and entities committed to the demographic challenge. The event aimed to address concrete solutions to one of the most urgent challenges facing the León region: the constant loss of population.
Noelia Brandón, from Ineco's Communication and Brand Positioning Deputy Directorate , participated in the round table titled "Companies and Entities Committed to the Territory", where she shared the company's experience in deploying the Ineco RuralTIC digitalisation programme. During her intervention, Brandón, who has been part of the Ineco RuralTIC programme as a digital nomad, emphasised that "digitalisation is not only a technological tool but an essential lever to foster real opportunities in rural areas, strengthen territorial cohesion, and combat population isolation".
The programme, which will begin its fourth edition in November, has established itself as a high social impact initiative. Since its launch, it has reached more than 100 municipalities across Spain, providing digital training to the elderly, advice to small local businesses, and support for the digital transformation of town councils. León stands out as the province with the most participating municipalities, reflecting the territory's commitment to this type of initiative.
Thanks to a specialised team and a solid track record in the technological field, Ineco has positioned itself as one of the main providers of digital services for the Administration. This capability has been key to consolidating Ineco RuralTIC as a collaboration model aimed at promoting digital inclusion and local economic development.
