Ineco served as the meeting point for environmental management professionals during the AEC Environment Community plenary, a collaborative network promoted by the Spanish Association for Quality (AEC). The initiative aims to foster knowledge sharing, best practices, and innovation in environmental management and sustainability within the business sector.
The event combined presentations of Ineco’s AI-driven innovative projects with a strategic plenary session that set priority lines for 2026. During the session, participants reviewed 2025 achievements and outlined future work, focusing on the upcoming publication of the new ISO 14001 standard and the integration of artificial intelligence as a key transformation lever.
In this context, Ineco showcased three flagship projects: PiroIA, which explores AI-based prediction of forest fire risk using climatic and socio-economic variables; Datos AEMET, an automated database providing historical and real-time climate data for multiple applications; and Virtual Assistant DAO Manager, an intelligent tool designed to automatically verify compliance with technical and regulatory requirements in environmental reports.
As an organization committed to excellence and ecological transition, Ineco maintains certified systems, calculates and records its carbon footprint, and advances an environmental strategy with measurable results—achieving a 4% reduction in per-employee footprint in 2024.
