Snapshot from Pedro Saldaña’s presentation at CESEDEN
The Defence Advance Studies Centre CESEDEN (affiliated with the Ministry of Defence) has featured Pedro Saldaña, Transport Economy and Policy manager, as part of the Advanced Management Course on Infrastructure and Heritage Resources.
During his presentation to professionals from the civil and military sectors, Saldaña focused on the opportunities presented by the public-private partnership (PPP) model. In his lecture, he highlighted the concession model as the most efficient way to modernise large infrastructures, emphasising its key advantages: ensuring high quality standards, optimising public resources, and collaborating with the private sector.
The objective of the Advanced Management Course on Infrastructure and Heritage Resources is to provide a global and forward-looking vision of the management of infrastructure and heritage resources within the Ministry of Defence, to personnel assigned, or who may be assigned in the near future, to positions of responsibility in planning, economic programming, budgeting, or management of infrastructure and heritage resources.
This participation in CESEDEN reaffirms Ineco's leadership and specialised knowledge in management and financing models in the defence sector, transferring our experience and know-how in asset management and financing solutions, thus consolidating our role as a strategic partner in the modernisation of vital infrastructures and equipment for Defence.
