The Royal Palace in Madrid was the setting for a key business meeting between Spain and Oman, organised by the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business on the occasion of the visit to Spain of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. The event, which was attended by King Felipe VI and Minister Carlos Cuerpo, brought together leading business representatives from both countries with the aim of boosting bilateral cooperation and opening up new opportunities in strategic sectors.
The day before, the president of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, took part in a meeting with the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of Oman, Qais bin Mohammed Al-Yousef, focused on analysing opportunities for collaboration in the economic and industrial sphere. In both meetings, Vázquez Torrón reaffirmed Ineco's commitment to the Oman Vision 2040, highlighting the company's capabilities in planning, sustainability and digitalisation, and expressing its willingness to collaborate closely with the Omani Ministry of Transport in the development of key infrastructures for the country.
Ineco has extensive experience in Oman, where it has executed more than 25 contracts in the railway, airport, urban and air navigation fields. Among the most emblematic projects are its role as a strategic partner of the Oman National Railway, the design of flight procedures for Omani airports and the study on public bus and ferry transport, which highlight the company's experience and commitment to the progress and modernisation of the sultanate.
