Ineco and its local partner, KUDPTI, have developed a railway training programme aimed at Kuwaiti experts with the objective of expanding their knowledge of planning, execution, operation and maintenance of railway projects. The programme aims to train participants from both the public and private sectors.
This introductory and multidisciplinary course began in Kuwait, and during this week it is being held in Spain, structured in different modules that will cover all areas related to railway transport. In this way, the programrme will provide a comprehensive vision of the sector, based on both theoretical aspects and real experiences.
The first phase of this programme held in Kuwait included presentations by three Ineco professionals: Carlos Díez, Terrestrial Telecommunications Manager, Carles Viader, Railway Projects Manager, and Marina Pujol, International Business Development technician. In addition, Eid Alsolami, High Speed Train driver since 2013, and Area Training Manager since 2023 at Renfe KSA, also participated.
The second phase of the training began this Monday with a reception for the participants at Ineco's headquarters and is of a more practical nature. Throughout this week, visits will be made to workshops, stations and operations control centres in the railway sector.
Through these activities, participants will be able to consolidate the theoretical knowledge acquired in Kuwait and learn first-hand about the main facilities that make up a railway infrastructure.
