Ineco has presented its new project for the development of digital twins in vertiports at Passenger Terminal, the international´s leading airport exhibition and conference .

This innovative tool allows a more efficient planning and design of these key infrastructures in the development of the new urban aerial mobility by being able to simulate in virtual environments different configurations and their behaviour according to the uses for which they are intended.

The company, in addition to having extensive experience in software design, BIM modelling and the application of artificial intelligence, has also developed other digital twins such as TWINECO for air navigation infrastructures and applicable transport infrastructures, which is currently being used by Enaire.

Leader in the implementation of the new mobility urban area

Ineco has promoted the success of the SIAM Cluster, with the aim of developing a transversal industrial sector for advanced aerial mobility, made up of companies with production and R&D&I capabilities, adapted to the current and future requirements of the European aerospace industry, with a special focus on advanced aerial mobility.
Ineco's experience in airport planning, air navigation and aeronautical infrastructure development makes the company a key player in this sector.  In addition to participating in the development of our airports in Spain, Ineco has significant experience in the world's main airports, having participated in projects as important as the aeronautical and terminal infrastructure development programme at Casablanca Mohamed V International Airport in Casablanca (Morocco), the design of the new international terminal at Schiphol in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), the consultancy work on drone matters for EASA, and the Project Management and ORAT of Kuwait International Airport.

A tool for designing the future

This new digital twin for vertiports features detailed editing in a 3D virtual environment, where all the essential elements for its operation have been integrated: the ability to create and edit routes that passengers can follow, or the creation and editing of flights, allowing the simulation of specific scenarios and evaluating the behaviour of the elements involved. In addition, the simulation of the movement of both drones and people has been carried out, thus achieving a faithful representation of the dynamic interaction between these elements in the virtual environment.

These combined functionalities provide a robust and versatile platform for the evaluation of the performance of the dump port and allow the extraction of graphs and information to determine its correct functioning.
