The Plan Iguales is structured around five programmes designed to address different social needs
Ineco is launching its Plan Iguales (Equal Opportunities Plan) for the third consecutive year, a strategic initiative that promotes the socio‑occupational inclusion of people in vulnerable situations and strengthens the company’s commitment to equal opportunities and diversity. Since its launch in 2024, the plan has facilitated the incorporation of more than 400 people into the company through its five dedicated programmes, consolidating an inclusion model with real impact both in Spain and internationally.
These recruitments have taken place across 28 provinces and 13 autonomous communities, as well as in Peru, Mexico and Uruguay, contributing to a more diverse and inclusive environment throughout the organisation.
Five programmes, one shared goal
Plan Iguales is structured around five programmes designed to address different social realities.
“Integra” promotes the integration of people with disabilities, ensuring their right to full social and workplace inclusion.
“Horizonte” provides professional opportunities for survivors of gender‑based violence.
“Proa” offers employment opportunities to refugees in Spain, while “Teseo” is aimed at individuals at risk of poverty or social exclusion.
Finally, “Ahora+” supports the incorporation of senior talent (aged 55 and over), fostering more diverse and cross‑generational teams. This commitment has led Ineco to become the first Spanish public company certified by the Age Friendly Institute.
Beyond recruitment, Ineco also supports these groups through its tailored training pathway, “Vuelta al Empleo”, developed in collaboration with various associations. This programme prepares participants to successfully re‑enter the labour market, working on key areas such as CV preparation, identifying job channels, using professional networks, preparing for interviews, and understanding the basics of employment relations. Of the more than 150 people mentored, 63% have successfully entered the labour market, making this programme a genuine gateway to a new professional and personal life project.
The plan’s training impact is further reinforced through Aula Inspira, under which more than 500 courses have been delivered focusing on digital skills, active job searching and vocational coaching, among other key areas to enhance employability. All of this has been made possible thanks to a network of over 100 partnerships with social entities and organisations that collaborate in identifying candidates and delivering workshops and training activities.
Challenges for 2026: more training, integration and accreditation
In 2026, Ineco will give new impetus to its inclusion strategy, strengthening its commitment to improving employability among people in vulnerable situations. The company will work on enhancing qualifications through new training initiatives and will promote integration through specific measures such as strengthened mentoring and professional support programmes.
In addition, Ineco will reinforce its Upgrading programme, with particular attention to migrants. This programme offers financial support, funding, and flexible working hours and locations, enabling Ineco employees to access official training at public or private universities within the Bologna Framework, doctoral studies, internationally recognised official certificates, and procedures for validating, recognising or equating foreign technical qualifications officially required in Spain.
With Plan Iguales, Ineco consolidates its model as a company committed to social impact, demonstrating that diversity and inclusion are not only corporate principles but also a real driver of transformation and value creation.
