Promoting social and labour inclusion means investing in real opportunities for everyone. With this objective in mind, the conference “Connecting Opportunities: Migration and Work in the New Economy” was held, organised by the San Blas Employment Technical Hub. The event brought together companies and social organisations to explore the challenges involved in recruiting migrant workers.

Ineco took part in the forum through Esteban Borque and Johan García, from the company’s Talent Selection and Attraction team. Their contribution focused on the Teseo programme, designed to facilitate access to employment for people at risk of poverty and social exclusion.

Teseo forms part of the Plan Iguales (Equal Opportunities Plan), an initiative that Ineco has been promoting for the third consecutive year to foster diversity and equal opportunities. The plan is structured around five programmes: Integra (people with disabilities), Horizonte (victims of gender-based violence), Proa (refugees), Teseo (people at risk of social exclusion) and Ahora+ (senior talent). The latter has positioned Ineco as the first Spanish public company to be certified by the Age Friendly Institute.

Since its launch in 2024, Plan Iguales has enabled the recruitment of more than 400 people across 28 provinces, 13 autonomous communities and in countries such as Peru, Mexico and Uruguay, consolidating an inclusive model with tangible social impact.
