The Auditorium of the Puerta de Toledo Campus of the Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) hosted the Closing Ceremony of the Diploma of Specialisation in Railway Operational Safety, corresponding to the fourth class of this own degree managed by the Carlos III University Foundation.

The event was chaired by Rocío Báguena, Secretary General of Land Transport and Director of the State Agency for Railway Safety (AESF), and included the participation of representatives from the entities promoting the programme: Ineco, Adif, Adif Alta Velocidad, Renfe, and AESF.

During the ceremony, diplomas were awarded to the students who completed this edition, including four professionals from our company. Since its launch, more than a hundred experts from the railway sector have been trained in this pioneering initiative, which has already launched its fifth edition.

This course is distinguished by offering a comprehensive view of the principles, processes, and tools that govern safety in the railway environment, addressing both infrastructure and operation. Over nine months of in-person training, students develop technical skills through an applied approach, with practical cases, simulations, and analysis of real regulations, which prepare them to face the daily challenges of operational safety management. It is a unique qualification in its field, which addresses the need for highly qualified professionals in a regulated, complex, and constantly evolving environment.
