Snapshot from the webinar
Ineco participated in the Inserta Empleo Público Forum organised by the ONCE Foundation, a space for dialogue focused on promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities in public employment. Almudena Torres, the company's Talent Selection and Attraction Manager, took part in the round table discussion "Successful cases in the application of the General Law on Disability in the public sector" to highlight Ineco's firm commitment to incorporating people with disabilities in technical and highly qualified jobs. The positive impact of diverse and multidisciplinary teams on performance and innovation has also been widely recognized.
Plan Iguales and Integra Programme
In 2023, Ineco launched the Plan Iguales, an initiative aimed at promoting the incorporation of people in vulnerable situations. Within the framework of this plan, the Integra Programme stands out, specifically aimed at hiring people with disabilities.
Thanks to this strategy, the company has taken on a total of more than 80 people with different profiles, including specialists in geotechnical engineering, cybersecurity, civil and airport engineering, as well as administrative staff. This effort has been possible thanks to the active collaboration with more than 15 foundations and associations, including the ONCE Foundation itself.
One of the main challenges identified is the high technical qualifications required for positions at Ineco. To address this, Aula Inspira has been launched, a new line of the Plan Iguales aimed at specialised training and improving the employability of people with disabilities. This initiative has involved the participation of six collaborating foundations, including the ONCE Foundation, which has trained 12 people in subjects such as digital skills, PowerBI and the environment. Ineco has also reinforced its commitment through internal awareness-raising actions.
