Ineco will develop Malta National Transport Strategy
Ineco signed the contract for the development of the National Transport Strategy with the public entity Transport Malta. The work contemplates the creation of a plan that simulates the functioning of all existing modes of transport in the country, to analyse and test divers planning scenarios. This work will serve as a guide to determine the perfect strategy of investments for the development of infrastructures in this European country.
Besides, works include the drafting of the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA), which allows to certify the suitability of the suggested solutions, minimising the impact, according to the local legislation and the guidelines from the European Commission.
For the execution of this project, Ineco associates with the Italian Systematica, thus reinforcing its own experience in transport forecasting.
This project means a new success in our international activity as transport planning experts and adds up to our broad experience in this discipline, where the Plans for Ecuador, Algeria and Costa Rica stand out.
