Mar Charle, manager in Sustainable Planning, and Iván Gómez, expert in Environment and Territory, have presented two papers at GAP Safety Week 2024.
Under the title: "Vertiport: infrastructure for urban air mobility", Mar Charle reviewed the development of these infrastructures adapted to vertical take-off and landing aircraft (VTOL), their typologies, the cases of use and the regulations being developed for their design. She also highlighted Ineco's experience in engineering and consultancy for airports and heliports in all phases of development: from initial studies to commissioning and operation.
For his part, Iván Gómez presented a paper on the design and analysis of Obstacle Limiting Surfaces, in which he highlighted our company's development of the innovative Helios OLS tool. Software that allows the design of the airfield, obstacle limitation surfaces and aeronautical easements of the aerodrome and radioelectric installations, the calculation of intersections and the calculation of the digital model of free heights and the analysis of obstacles in the airport environment.
Organised by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, GAP Safety Week 2024 seeks to reinforce the safety culture in the industry by raising awareness among all those involved in the aviation system of the importance of maintaining safety management systems.
