Ineco Universitas presentation event

Ineco Universitas presentation event

October 17, 2025

Ineco hosted the presentation of Ineco Universitas this Thursday, a new initiative aimed at strengthening internal talent and promoting continuous training.

With this project, Ineco fulfils the purpose of adding value to the company's professionals, consolidating the strategic capabilities that improve the quality of life of citizens and strengthening the culture of continuous learning that characterises the company. This new training lever will reinforce the team's key competencies and add value to the transformation projects the company faces.

The president of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez Torrón, was responsible for inaugurating the event, where he highlighted "three principles for training and knowledge, which would be, like liberty, equality and fraternity; curiosity, humility and love for the truth".

For his part, Juan Cruz Cigudosa, Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Universities, closed the presentation of Ineco Universitas by congratulating the company for this space "committed to knowledge, innovation and people". He also pointed out that "when talent and companies engage in dialogue, new ideas are born to face the challenges ahead, such as sustainable mobility, digital transformation, ecological transition or the improvement of public services".

The 2025–2026 training program is structured around three thematic campuses (Public Sector, Digital, and Mobility) comprising a total of 17 courses, 17 academic directors, 66 instructors, and more than 3,500 hours of training.
• Public Sector Campus: three courses focused on public management, innovation, and institutional collaboration.
• Digital Campus: four training sessions dedicated to digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and technological transformation.
•Mobility Campus: ten courses focused on the planning, design, and management of sustainable transport infrastructures and services.

Other programmes to promote talent and innovation

In line with its new training strategy, Ineco has been developing various initiatives for years that reinforce its commitment to talent, research, and social inclusion.

Among them, the Social Scholarships Programme stands out, an initiative that supports young people in vulnerable situations in their academic and professional development. Since its launch, and thanks to the charitable contributions of the Ineco team, nearly 170 scholarships have already been awarded, marking a before and after in the lives of those who have received them.

Likewise, the company promotes the iCampus programme, aimed at fostering scientific and technical research, knowledge transfer, and collaboration between the academic, business, and technical fields. Currently, iCampus has seven open innovation projects underway, in collaboration with leading universities and technology centres: optimisation of railway layouts and informative studies of new layouts (with the University of Santiago de Compostela); resilience of materials and Raman method to identify stress in rails (with the University of Cantabria); digital twins and stochastic methods applied to floodability (with the Polytechnic University of Madrid); AI and Bias Observatory in Mobility (with the Polytechnic University of Valencia); and noise in ports (with the National Technology Centre).

Through these programmes, Ineco consolidates a comprehensive vision of learning and innovation, connecting technical knowledge with social impact and sustainable progress.
