Ineco and Puertos del Estado (National Port Authority) will take part in building the port of La Paloma in Uruguay

Ineco and Puertos del Estado have signed a port technical collaboration agreement with the CND (National Development Corporation of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay). The objective of this cooperation is to contribute experiences and knowledge to the CMD, aimed at assessing, studying and executing the deepwater port project in La Paloma (Rocha), Uruguay. This includes collaboration, technical support, studies and more specific consultancy.
 
Present at the signing were Adriana Rodríguez, chairwoman of CND, Pablo Gutiérrez, vice-chairman of CND, Roberto Varela, ambassador to Spain in Uruguay, José Llorca, chairman of Puertos del Estado, and Pablo Vázquez, chairman of Ineco. Representing the Interministerial Committee of the Deepwater Port was its chairman, Pedro Buonomo, also an advisor of the President's office on infrastructure work, and Pablo Genta, deputy minister of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works of Uruguay.
 
One of the primary purposes of CND is to encourage business development, favour the creation of companies, strengthen existing companies and participate, in full or in part, in their capital. It aims to be a benchmark as a facilitator for executing public policies on development.
