Ineco has been awarded the contract, as part of a consortium with the company Kuwait United Development (KUD), for the Kuwait International Airport master plan upgrading project.

The project will complement the current support provided to the Kuwaiti Civil Aviation Authority and includes conducting a series of studies that complement the master plan.  Some of the more important include seeking possible investment opportunities related to operation and commercial use of the new facilities, and looking for a location for a second international airport.

Ineco was already awarded the contract last year for the administration and comprehensive management of the airport expansion project.
