Ineco Tifsa has participated in the ITA-AITES World Tunnel Congress 2009, the most important Geotechnical Engineering and Tunnels sector trade fair, which took place in Budapest (Hungary) from 23 to 28 May 2009.

Approximately 70 companies participated in this exhibition, where the Group was represented through a stand that showed visitors Ineco Tifsa's service offering in this field.

In the event, which brought together important representatives from the tunnels sector around the world, more than 500 speakers participated with different studies and projects related to the activity. Among these, Mario Peláez, Geotechnical Engineering and Tunnels Manager of Ineco Tifsa, and Natalia Montenegro, the Group's Project Engineer, presented the paper: "Pressure wave measurements inside tunnels of the Spanish Railway Network and inside a High Velocity streamlined test train", a paper that analysed the effect of pressure waves in high-speed tunnels.
