Miguel de Bernardo and Carlos Amigo, both from Ineco Tifsa's Aeronautical Consultancy business area, presented a joint paper at the "Airport Management and Economic Development: The Caribbean" seminar, which was held in Atlanta (USA), on 2 and 3 April last.

The presentation, entitled "The Efficiency Challenge: Sangster Int. Airport Case Study", analyses airport operations optimisation in a passenger terminal as a means of enhancing performance in times of economic and financial crisis, focusing on the achievements obtained during the implementation of the International Sangster Airport Master Plan in Montego Bay, Jamaica, which Ineco Tifsa is carrying out.

The seminar, which was, organised by CIFAL Atlanta (an organisation that reports to the United Nations) and the ACI Fund (Airports Council International training and certification service), and sponsored by SITA, DELTA and Atlanta Airport, was attended by a number of relevant representatives from the airport sector.
