Ineco participates in the World ATM Congress, which is being held in Madrid from June 21 to 23, and which brings together nearly 10,000 professionals from 130 countries. Organised by the Civil Air Navigation Services Organization (CANSO) in collaboration with the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA), the event presents the main trends and developments related to the field of air navigation.

The ICAO positions Ineco as the first Spanish company with recognition for the design of flight procedures

In yet another edition, Ineco is present at the World ATM Congress, positioning itself as a leading company in air navigation in Spain, by becoming the first Spanish company to obtain ICAO recognition for the design of flight procedures.

Ineco has a team of nearly 300 professionals working in areas such as Airspace (design and operation); communications, navigation, surveillance and air traffic management systems; and aspects related to Safety, management systems and performance analysis in the provision of Air Navigation services.

Participation in the AMU-LED project

In our commitment to innovation and to getting involved in the mobility of the future, we participate in such important collaborative projects as AMU-LED, a European Commission project that we will present within the framework of this event, and which aims to demonstrate the safe integration of all types of drone operations in urban environments.

In this sense, at our stand, Ineco presents, on the one hand, a video game that will allow visitors to fly a drone from a vertiport at the airport to the city center, and on the other, a simulator in which carry out in augmented reality mode the air taxi operation between two collection points and the vertiports in different places in Madrid. You can download the app IOS format here and for Android here.

AYREA grant program

Since 2019, 109 grant holders have joined the AYREA Grant Program for students from all areas of the aviation sector, of which 40% have joined the company.

The next call for the program will have 12 scholarships and will be launched in mid-September 2022, to be incorporated between January and February 2023. The scholarships will be published during the month of August on the website of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Young talent that participates in projects with a high innovative and technological content: from boosting satellite navigation to capacity in flight procedure design, internationally recognised by ICAO. From Operational Safety and change management, with an innovative focus on the Human Factor, to the integration of drone operations, not only in conventional airspace but also in the urban environment. And without forgetting the constant contribution to the development of the Air Navigation System through participation in European R&D with the SESAR program.

Presentations

As an example of the great specialised knowledge that the company possesses, we will present two technical conferences by Marisol de Mena, who will be in charge of explaining a biomathematical model for the prediction of fatigue in air traffic management, and Miguel Angel Bueno and Javier Vázquez, who will enlighten us about the application of Big Data to the optimisation of air navigation operations. Víctor Gordo will also participate in the Sesar Walking Tours, an initiative for interested visitors to learn first-hand about the wide variety of solutions that we are developing, supplying and implementing throughout Europe related to the single European sky.
