Ineco presented two conferences at Passenger Terminal Conference and Exhibition 2014, María Sánchez Sampedro introduced “The importance of environmental considerations in airport master plans” and Ainhoa Zubieta presented “High speed and air transport: impacts and cooperative strategies”.

Maria Sánchez Sampedro focused on the importance of strategic environmental evaluation and its integration within Master Plan development for airports. Ineco showed its wide experience in this field during the presentation with national and international projects like the Master Plan strategic environmental evaluation for Kuwait and Cartagena de Indias (Colombia) airports.

In her conference, Ainhoa Zubieta, explained a different perspective of the debate about the impact that the implementation of the high speed rail can have in the aviation market and tried to identify different cooperation strategies between airports, airlines and other agents to seek a greater competitiveness.
