Riad (Saudi Arabia) hosted the 17th World Congress of the International Road Federation (IRF) from November 10th to 14th, considered the most important event for the roads sector.

Ineco was present in the pavilion coordinated by the Spanish Road Association (AEC), along with other companies like OHL, FCC, ETRA, the Postigo Group or Indra amongst others, as well as with the Directorate General of Traffic and the Directorate General of Roads from the Ministry of Public Works.

Jorge Engels, delegate for Middle East and Africa, and Elena Puente, Airports and Roads Area manager, who also presented the “Implementation of the European Experience PILOT4SAFET in Generalitat de Catalunya Road Network” talk, were Ineco’s representatives in the Congress.

This event was an excellent chance to understand the current situation of a geographic area full of opportunities, as well as to explore new business possibilities by meeting most of the companies of the road infrastructure sector.
