Since 2015, Ineco has provided technical services for the coordination and monitoring of the deployment of the ERTMS system in the TEN-T network of European corridors. The company has signed a new contract that reinforces its leadership in the deployment of this system in European Corridors.

The focus of this project, which Ineco has been awarded with its partner EY, is located in the Trans European Transport Networks (TEN-T), where there are commitments from the different Member States to deploy ERTMS, but technical support will also be provided to other projects, including neighboring countries of the Member States such as Norway and Switzerland or the Western Balkans. In addition, we will provide support to deployment scenarios of digitalisation of European rail transport that will improve the efficiency and safety of the railway, including Automatic Train Operation (ATO), traffic management, the digital data exchange with telematic applications for freight and passengers, migration plans for the Future Mobile Radio Communications System (FMRCS) and we will provide economic analysis of the Automatic Coupling system (DAC).

This new contract reinforces our position in the most innovative areas of the Railway and our support for the Directorate General for Mobility and Transport of the European Commission (DG MOVE), Europe's Rail Joint Undertaking, ERA and CINEA.
