Ineco received the CANSO "Global Safety Achievement Award 2019" for its innovation project "Methodology for the Integration of the Human Factor in Risk Analysis", carried out between 2016 and 2018 by a multidisciplinary air and ground safety team, together with the contribution of outside experts from universities. The president of Ineco, Carmen Librero, accepted the award given at the Safety Conference that was held in Paris, France, from 4 to 7 November. Víctor Bustos, Deputy Director of Aerospace Systems, Tatiana Rueda, project manager, and expert Miguel Capote, represented the team responsible for the development of this project, in which collaboration between the air and ground sectors has been essential to obtain a transversal method applicable to any transport sector, at the event.

CANSO is the global organisation that represents the interests of air navigation service providers (ANSPs). Its members, who provide 90% of the world's air traffic services, use CANSO as an opportunity to exchange information, develop new policies, improve air navigation services, and the organisation represents them before multiple intermediaries, such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Every year, CANSO launches an initiative to reward the organization or team that has made a significant contribution to risk reduction and safety.

Ineco's "Human Factor" methodology has been presented ad different forums in recent years, including the Human Factor Aviation Safety Conference, held in London in 2018 or the World ATM Congress 2019, held last March in Madrid.
