The President of Ineco, Jesús Silva, took part in the presentation ceremony in Muscat for the new brand of the public bus company Oman National Transport Company (ONTC), which was renamed Mwasalat (transport in Arabic). During the ceremony, five new bus routes that will operate in the Omani capital were also presented.

Ineco is carrying out the Bus Transport Strategic Plan for the ONTC which entails the design of growth policies, development strategies, increased and enhanced levels of service and security, an improvement of the intermodal connections, the definition of operational costs and the implementation of new management and operation service technologies.

Among those who attended the event were the following guests: Ahmed Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications of Oman; Salim Al Nuaimi, President of the ONTC and Secretary of State for Transport; Ahmed Al Bulushi, CEO of the ONTC; and Abdulrahman Al Hatmi, CEO of Oman Rail.

Ineco is also carrying out project management of Oman's railway network.
