Ineco has today presented the Ineco Agenda 2030 Plan for the 2022. A document that incorporates the company's commitments to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

At an event as part of Ineco's Third Equality Week, the president of Ineco, Sergio Vázquez, emphasized that: "At Ineco we work to create a better world. Engineering is not just about making things, but helping to make them better"..

The Plan is structured in 6 main lines of action that allow Ineco to coordinate specific initiatives that contribute directly to:

• Achieve real equality between women and men.
• Contribute to environmental sustainability.
• Encourage actions that promote the work-life balance of the Ineco team.
• Strengthen the company's Solidarity to contribute to improving the lives of the most vulnerable people.
• Ensure compliance policies and their enforcement.
• Encourage and promote alliances aimed at strengthening the achievement of the SDGs.

The event was attended by the actress and writer Itziar Miranda, author of the book collection "Miranda y Tato", which aims to bring the SDGs to children.

During the presentation, the children and families of Ineco colleagues were able to see what the SDGs consist of and how engineering contributes to the 2030 Agenda with real examples of a smart city, drones applied to engineering and a model adapted to children of Building Information Modeling.
